Terma Sphera Ltd. is a high-tech company providing a scalable storage solutions, with environmental, economic, scientific and societal impact. From start to finish, Terma Sphera’s value chain lives up to the company’s ideals of providing clean energy for the future.
Therma Sphera was founded in 2014 by Dr. Nitzan Eliyahu and brought together a wide range of disciplines united by its common vision. It`s Technological development was rapid, moving from TRL3 to TRL6 in a matter of 2 years. The matrix PCM fully & successfully developed, patended and manufactured in substantial quantities, and fully tested for substantial scale and durations. Therma Sphera accomplished a 2-year incubation via Horizon Greentech Ventures ltd, and was awarded the Horizon2020 grant and a seal of excellence by the European Commission.
The company’s strong technical and business background has helped it cultivate a network of contractors and development partners for later projects alongside access to facilities used to develop its solutions. Therma Sphera intends to capitalize on this engagement by providing solutions for heated energy storage.
The Team
Served in the IDF for 29 years in command and senior positions.
Amir has experience in field roles alongside experience in managing complex, resource-intensive systems and budgets. Since his discharge, Amir has run a real estate company and a cannabis company. He holds a B.A. from the Hebrew University and a master’s degree from the Tel Aviv University Executive Program.

Thermodynamics & Multidisciplinary expert. Nitzan has 25 years' experience in innovation, entrepreneurship & R&D; thermodynamics, kinetics, imaging, organic synthesis and polymers.
He has Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry. and over 25 publications and patent applications.
