Energy intensive industries including petroleum refining, cement, glass, food, heavy metal manufacturing, and chemical are some of the prominent application areas with significant Waste Heat Recovery (WHR) potential.

Therma Sphera developed a Waste Heat Recovery system for the different manufacturing industries who produce heat waste temperature range below 200 ⁰C.

These thermal solutions are based on Therma Sphera's patented matrix PCM (Phase Change Material), scalable to the plant size and store the heat energy losses across the different processes, such as condensers/heat exchangers. Allow to increase the steam temperature - reducing electrical costs and carbon footprint.

The short-range electric cars cause “range anxiety”. Owners try to increase their driving range by shutting off air conditioning, heaters/defrosters, radio, and other “unnecessary” functions to ensure they can reach the destination before they run out of power.

Therma Sphera developed a novel thermal battery systems with a high heat capacity to manage the energy in electric vehicles by supplying heat to passenger cabin and stabilizing the working temperature of the vehicle's battery.

These thermal battery systems are based on Therma Sphera matrix PCM (Phase Change Material) and manage heating needs trough it's Thermal Management System (TMS). This allows to increase the EV range up to 50% especially under cold weather conditions.

These thermal battery products are designed to be scalable to private and public sectors, sustainable and removable from the vehicles.
